We are pleased to say that the dressage championships will continue to follow the same format as previous years and there will be six dressage competition arenas. Optional dressage warms up competitions will be on Friday 17 July and the Championship Finals on the Saturday and Sunday. We are delighted that Sara Green, a former and highly respected Director of British Dressage has taken up the role of technical adviser for the dressage. We have worked with her for over fourteen years and are delighted that she is becoming involved with Trailblazers.
The junior and senior show jumping championships will see optional warm up classes taking place on Thursday 23 July and the Championship Finals being held on two out of the three championship days 24 – 26 July. Course designers confirmed for the championships are David Cole and Paul Connor, both international course designers who have built at all levels and at many different shows.
Showing Championships will now take place in the Grand Ring at Stoneleigh Park, which used to be the main arena for the Royal Show. We feel that this provides the championship experience deserved by the showing competitors. The working hunter championships will take place in a bigger arena than last year with the courses designed by the course designer for the working hunter at the Royal International Show and Dublin Horse Show. Kevin Millman is looking forward to being involved with the Trailblazers Championships, meeting the competitors and designing a friendly and interesting course for all the various levels at the championships.
Combined training competitors will have the option to use the show jumping classes on Thursday 23 July as a warm up if they wish prior to their championship competitions on the Friday and Saturday. The dressage will take place in the Grand Ring, while the jumping will be in the main championship arena as previous years.

At the end of a day’s competition bring your seat, maybe grab a drink or something to eat and sit back and enjoy a master class by a experts in the sports of dressage or show jumping. This will be free to everyone attending the championships.
We are delighted to announce that Adam Kemp, top international trainer will present the dressage master class on Friday evening 17 July. Meanwhile, Geoff Billington will present the show jumping master class on the Friday 24 July in his own inevitable style!
Championship Goodie Bags
We are also pleased to confirm that every competitor competing at the Championship Finals will receive a championship goodie bag when arrive at the show and visit the Secretary’s Office.
